Pfc. Owen M. Norris, a 26-year-old Marriottsville native, returned to his home state on Thursday, Sept. 24, when his flag-draped casket arrived at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport as family members, service members, first responders, and airport workers gathered to welcome him.

The Cross Sound Ferry from New London, CT to Orient, NY cancelled departures at 6:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. from Connecticut, the service announced.

Blue Pegasus Holdings Limited Liability Company (LLC) of New Windsor claimed the second prize from the June 9 drawing, the New York Lottery announced on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
