Hospice of Westchester has received a $1,500 donation from The Scarsdale Woman’s Club to support end-of-life care in Westchester County.
“The Scarsdale Woman’s Club has been a strong supporter of our organization for years, and we are grateful for their unwavering generosity,” said Mary K. Spengler, RN, MS, LNHA, CEO of Hospice of Westchester.
“With this donation, we can continue to provide quality and compassionate services and programs to our patients, their families, and the wider Westchester community,” Spengler added.

Dorothea Emrich is picking up the pieces after she lost everything in a fire at her Navesink home on Friday, Aug. 21.
Emrich, a teacher at Mountain Hill Preschool in Atlantic Highlands, heard a loud pop coming from her garage and when she opened the door, her car spontaneously combusted and the fire spread, destroying her home, according to a GoFundMe set up to support her.
