A 20-year-old Pennsylvania woman has been charged with lying about an attempted rape and kidnapping last month, authorities have announced.
Anjela Borisova Urumova, of Bristol Township, admitted to fabricating the April 16 incident that she said happened in the Redner's parking lot, landing Daniel Pierson behind bars, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced on Monday, May 20. Pierson was freed from the BCCF last week, and charges have been withdrawn.

Lancaster police have charged arrested two men with raping a 16-year-old victim in the city in 1997, one who was an officer tasked with the initial investigation.
Andrew Selby, 54, and Roberto Rosario, 44, became the center of an investigation in March 2024, when Detective Sgt. Jessica Higgins was made aware of one alleged incident.

Andre Gordon Jr. will stand trial for the murders of three family members in Falls Township in March, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office says.
Gordon Jr., 26, had a preliminary hearing held in absentia on Wednesday, May 15 after he "refused to come out of his jail cell to be transported to the Justice Center," according to prosecutors.
During the hearing, Magisterial District Judge Terrence Hughes reviewed photos, heard 911 calls, and watched body camera footage from the March 16 spree killing.

Stolen Car Leads Police On Chase Through Palmer Township: Authorities
One man is in custody after a police chase in Palmer Township on Sunday, May 12, authorities say.
Joshua E. Ewell, 25, is charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing arrest, reckless endangerment, and related counts, said township police.
