The Animal Welfare League of Arlington said it was made aware of "several" reported sightings of the juvenile black bear. Litter Of Days-Old Kittens Found Abandoned In Milk Crate In Westchester A litter of kittens has a new surrogate mom after being found abandoned in a milk carton crate in Westchester. The kittens, all only a few days old, were discovered in a milk crate by Briarcliff Manor-based SPCA Westchester on Monday evening, May 6.  Luckily, the organization was able to keep the kittens alive and worked to bottle-feed them every few hours after their rescue to keep them healthy.
