A man was accused of stealing a vehicle twice in about eight hours and getting caught by the same police officer in Atlantic City, authorities said. In a news release on Tuesday, May 14, the Atlantic City Police Department arrested 33-year-old Adam Ross of Absecon. He was charged with two counts each of theft and receiving stolen property. School Bus Catches Fire In Sayreville
A school bus caught fire in Sayreville on Tuesday afternoon, May 14, authorities said. All seven passengers and the driver escaped safely, they said. Police and firefighters were at the scene of the fire reported at 3:55 p.m. on Louis Street, according to Lt. James Novak, a Sayreville police spokesman.
